Creamy Cashmere
With the New Year unfolding, one thing moving into 2021 hasn’t changed - my love for neutrals. The weather cooled down in Sydney over the festive season, so it was a convenient time to show some love for my favourite creamy knit.
No matter where I am in the world, the hues of pastries and dumplings will always follow. A few tips when shopping for the perfect knit. Go oversized, soft - not itchy, light enough to fall into place, and a colour that will seamlessly style alongside the majority of your wardrobe.
Styled with knitted shorts, it’s the Aussie take on aligning with the Northern Hemisphere winter. I wore this look minus the blazer a few days over the Christmas break - changing it up with slides and sneakers.
The knit, from Weekend and Beyond begins with a Californian lifestyle and the natural beauty of the homeland. I have travelled to California around 5 times, and for me Sydney has so many similarities. I think of golden mornings, high landscapes peering down onto the beaches, and moments of calm. The creatives captured for this piece are my take on California. All fabrics used are sourced from Italian manufacturers that comply with the European eco-standards.
